If the drive becomes too hot, Samsung’s Dynamic Thermal Guard, a thermal throttling technology, will slow it down. Samsung claims that the EVO Plus model’s Dynamic Thermal Guard technology can transfer 86 percent more data (134GB) during sequential writes before throttling occurs.
