G502 HERO High-Performance Wired Gaming Mouse by Logitech

15 March 2022
G502 Hero is an excellent office mouse. It boasts a right-handed, ergonomic design with thumb rest, making it easy to use for long periods. To make long navigating documents easier, a button behind the scroll wheel can be switched to a free-scrolling mode, and the scroll wheel also has L/R tilts for horizontal navigation. It has a lot of customization options because of the software that comes with it. Unfortunately, it’s a wired-only device with a stiff cord, which could be a problem if you’re working in a cramped or congested environment. It’s also too big for small-handed users who can’t reach all buttons.
Design of G502 HERO
The Logitech G502 HERO has an aggressive gaming design with solid curves and RGB lighting. The two RGB zones show the CPI setting in the logo and the left side. The buttons are glossy black plastic, while the body is matte black plastic with latex covering on the edges for extra grip.
Comfortable to useÂ
Because of its diagonal shape and thumb rest, the Logitech G502 HERO is charming to operate. It is, however, a vast mouse that will certainly be uncomfortable for individuals with small hands.
Build qualityÂ
The Logitech G502 has a sturdy and well-made feel to it. Though the mouse wheel has a tiny wobble, this is most likely due to the L/R tilt feature, which is a typical issue with mice that have it.
Cable
The cord of the Logitech G502 is adequate. However, it is stiff and tends to get snagged on surfaces, causing drag.
Mouse wheelÂ
It has a precision scroll wheel. A button behind the scroll wheel can unlock it for free-scrolling mode. It also includes L/R tilts that may be controlled via software. Check out the Razer Basilisk V3 if you’re looking for an A full-featured gaming mouse. This is the best gaming mouse and has scrolling modes automatically.
